Celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday 22nd April
For music lovers, Record Store Day is an annual event that’s constantly on the radar. Between exclusive events and exciting new releases, your local record store is the place to be!
Head to The Rock Box here at The Square on the day itself for live music from Jopy, Adomania, Jacob Lilac DJ and enjoy delicious offerings from Pop-Up Taphouse and Tehran Station on your visit.
The day also brings tonnes of vinyl releases specifically for Record Store Day, which this year includes the live recording ‘Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions’ from Taylor Swift, and Sam Smith’s Unholy featuring Kim Petras, amongst many others.
In addition, this year’s official ambassadors The 1975 will be re-releasing their bestselling album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, performed live with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. The album is set to be a sell-out, with loyal fans set to be queuing from the early hours to get their hands on this limited edition vinyl.
The Rock Box will be open at 8am, with live music from 2pm – and remember to get there early to get your hands on the goodies!
