Our visitors  are carefully matched to an older person living nearby so that both parties can gain mutual enjoyment from their friendship. The Giving Tree working with The Hope Hub

The Giving Tree is a scheme which donates gifts to a chosen charity with the help of the people of Camberley, The Squares chosen Charity this year is The Hope Hub which is a Charity based in Camberley which works to prevent and end homelessness in Surrey Heath Borough and surrounding areas. Find The Giving Tree outside Jack Wills, Main Square.

How the Giving Tree works?

  • Pick a Christmas tag from the Giving tree
  • Buy the chosen gift
  • Return the gift to the information desk   
  • The last day for dropping of all gifts is Tuesday 17th December

4 – Entries are unlimited however the same photo can only be used once.

5 – Pictures must be original and taken by the participant or authorized by the person that had taken the picture to take part of the campaign

Children can write their letters to Father Christmas and pop it into The Square’s talking post-box!

The post-box will be located in Cambridge Square (outside House of Fraser) from 18th November until 20th December.

Our Christmas Craft event will close for a break between 1pm – 2pm each day and is available for children aged between 4 and 10 years old. Please note that children must not be left unattended.

Visit Father Christmas in his Grotto on the 23rd or 24th November and from the 30th November until 24th December.

Tickets are only £4 per children and include a gift.

Book online until the 22nd November 9am and get 50% OFF on the Grotto ticket (excludes booking fee).

The ‘real live’ animatronic polar bear, accompanied by an Inuit handler, is the centrepiece of an interactive performance which is a cross between a petting zoo and a nature documentary.

Sessions at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

The ‘Lost Elves & Reindeer’ are coming to Camberley for three sessions throughout the day. You cannot miss the opportunity to take your special picture with them. Also, children will have the opportunity to make their own Reindeer Food to sprinkle outside their door on Christmas Eve. They play ‘Pin The Nose on Rudolph’ to win a festive treat.

From 10am until 3pm Park Street in Camberley hosts the monthly market with a huge variety of street food, crafts and traditional local farmers’ produce. It’s a great place to try before you buy and get to know exactly where your food comes from.
